For the full natural effect, we recommend adding the wooden lid accessory. Not only does it match the spruce wood the hot tub is made out of, but it keeps debris out of the hot tub and allows the water to reach maximum temperature quicker. For the times that you are not enjoying the tub, keep the heat in with the natural lightness and resilience of spruce. Wood fired hot tubs are fired on ‘when required basis’ . So not sure if this is a correct sentence..? when you don’t enjoy it, you cool down the water and then put the lid on so the debris don’t go in…
Please note: the wooden lid will react to the steam and sun and might get warped eventually regardless of how well the wood treated is. This will still do the job it’s meant to do (keep the rubbish away from dropping into the tub).
