If the weather is hot and dry and the hot tub is not used or left unfilled for a long length of time then will the wood shrink?

Apart from when you are cleaning it, the hot tub should be full. During the winter if there is exceptionally cold weather to the extent that there is a risk of freezing then the tub should be emptied. These shrinkage issues only apply to wooden models.
